Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and acknowledges that as shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ, devoting time to prayer and to the ministry of the Word is key. The passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.
“Our vision is to continually develop our churches to be healthy, evangelistic, nurturing and inspiring; not only caring for our own, but challenging individual members to be of service to their immediate communities. We want to go back to the New Testament teaching of the Great Commission – that our churches have to, first and foremost, make and duplicate disciples. These churches will be warm, welcoming and nurturing. That is how the church community life will be fulfilled.”
“Being a secretary of the Seventh-day Adventist Conference is not an independent position – it involves working together with the Conference president and the treasurer, to share a vision and to make a concerted decision. We hope to see each of the 9 churches as a center of influence – to capitalize on the existing structure we have, and to use that to reach out to their own communities.”
“The role of a treasurer is to be a custodian and steward of this Conference’s resources — disbursing & managing financial backing to the community projects and outreach events by our churches in Singapore — with the highest integrity, accountability and transparency. Tithes and offerings are ways to acknowledge God’s blessings to us. God is the source of our wealth. We are simply called to manage the wealth that He has gifted to us. By returning a portion of what God gave us, we become a channel to bless others, making us partners in His work.
