Beginnings
The former building, designed by Ng Keng Siang, was completed
in 1954. It was officially opened on August 14, 1954 by Pastor
J. M. Nerness, president of the Malayan Union Mission. The first
pastor was R. A. Pohan. After a groundbreaking ceremony officiated
by MP Mr. Chan Soo Sen on November 18, 2001, the present building
was completed in December 2002.
